"You will learn more from your friends than you ever will from books. Choose your friends wisely."--Matthew Kelly
This has a 1968 linen calendar as the base. Measures 27" high by 16-1/2" wide. The motto has been changed to read: Bless this friendship Oh Lord we pray; Make it authentic by night & day. Shows 2 friends dressed in colorful, scrappy attire. All elements have been sewn by machine as a crazy quilt patchwork might be: raw edge applique; whimsical, primitive, imperfect. Fabrics include: Waverly, French, batik, chintz, bird feather, velvet, faux leopard, VanHeusen, tablecloth, tulle, flag, Nick & Nora, etc. Notice the vintage cloisonne bird pin on hat, the X-O on skirt, the 'random scraps of fabrics' tossed here and there. Stylized faces. I hand colored the background using pastel dye sticks. Carries the Random Scraps of Fabric label and is signed by me, Bonny Gorsuch aka My Bonny, in Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. Thank you for your interest!
