The Flores de Verano (Flowers of Summer) Mandala Record Clock features my original, psychedelic mandala design.

I used Crafty Chica™ paints that were generously donated by the Crafty Chica herself, Kathy Cano-Murillo, to use in a mandala painting workshop that I taught at Hello Craft's 2010 Summit of Awesome.

My 16-year old daughter (who studies Spanish) named the design Flores de Verano, which means Flowers of Summer. I think it is a perfect name because the colors so vividly remind one of gorgeous blooms on a hot day. I think this design will spice up your home and make it blossom with the flowers of summer even when it's cold winter outside.

The clock is made from an upcycled 12" vinyl LP record.

The painted record is assembled with a new quartz clock movement and simple black clock hands. There's a heavy duty hanger on the back for hanging. The clock takes one "AA" battery (not included).

It would make a great wedding or housewarming gift!

12" (30.48 cm) in diameter.
