'Satan Whispers Softly ...' A6 Greeting Card - Belladonna, Goat Moth and Brimstone Moth

Magick forest, field and glen, Satan suckles at my breast again. The dark lord gives me his protection, a deadly morsel for your confection. Devil's Cherries his poisonous weapon, to teach you his ultimate lesson.

'Flora and Fauna' is a highly symbolic series of artworks by British artist Alice Durose. The mixed media series was inspired by the historical symbolism surrounding the flora and fauna of our world. Throughout history and within many cultures plants have deep rooted reputations, some still translating into society today. 'The Language of Flowers' was a phenomenon which saw flora as a method of communication, but Herbology is older still, and some would say far more potent. This complex and ancient symbolism inspired me to tell a tale through the medium of Flowers and insects, fronted by beauty but sometimes hiding a sinister secret, and so the 'Flora and Fauna' series was born.

Printed in England on 340gsm sustainably sourced card stock. Cards are finished with an exterior satin coating, and remain uncoated inside. All cards are blank inside, ready for you to write your own message. All cards are A6 and are provided with a C6 recycled brown envelope.

By choosing to purchase this product you are directly supporting an independent UK artist, their young business and the British Printing industry.
