Description

This listing is for ONE (1) button, but there are SIX (6) available.

These are so pretty. The hand painted compass like design is intricate and well done. The wood is a blonde color, but I don't know woods enough to be able to say what kind it is. They have a very folk art look. I would date these to the first half of the 20th Century.

They are NBS large, measuring 1 & 5/16" in diameter and are 5/16" thick. They have an embedded wooden dowel shank.

They are in very good, original vintage condition. My pictures are a big part of my description, so please be sure to view them all. Pictures often show things not visible to the naked eye. These buttons are still on their original sales card, so they are in unused condition. No damage to paint or wood.

These would be wonderful for the closure button on a quilted jacket, woven cape, felted purse, or any other hand created item. The time spent creating a lovely wearable item deserves a beautiful and unique button.

This button would also make a nice addition to any button collection, especially on a wood card.

Combined shipping is available. I can mail all 6 buttons for the same shipping fee as for one.
