Description

Here is a selection of handmade button sets for your own projects or perhaps as a small gift for a friend. They have many uses - scrap booking, closures for journals, buttons for hand knit or crocheted sweaters, decorations on hats or purses, and so on! Or just to have them because you like them and they look nice on the pretty card3

I made the buttons from ceramic clay by pressing slabs of clay onto molds that I've made, then cutting them into circles and piercing the holes. I made the mold from little things I have, or from plants and seed pods from my yard. Each of the buttons is unique. I fired them, applied three coats of ceramic glaze, then fired them again.

The buttons are 1 1/8" in diameter.

The card they are on is from my own original piece of art. It is a high quality print on watercolor paper. On the back of each card, I have described what I used for the mold.

Here are your options:

Cream - for these buttons I used a mold I made from wild grasses (otherwise known and weeds)
Lavender - for these buttons I used a mold I made from lavender leaves and buds
Wheat - for these buttons I used a mold I made from seedpod from my dogwood tree
