Nostalgic Mexican oilcloth prints are paired with fun, graphic canvas linings to make zippered pouches for use as a stand-alone clutch, or to pair with my 'Bagstaff' Market Bags. Great for makeup, travel, journal or art supplies. Or use as a purse to hold wallet, cell phone, keys, lipstick and more.

Each pouch is fully lined with heavy cotton for fun and durability. The interior cotton prints are matched up with the exterior oilcloth depending what's available in the studio at the time. Be assured that it will be a fun and bright choice! Order by exterior oilcloth color.

Small pouch measures approximately 9.5" wide x 6" high. (See my other listings for a larger pouch measuring approximately 12" wide x 10.5" high.)

The high quality nylon zipper has Mexican milagro attached to the zipper pull with bamboo twine. Milagro varies with each bag. Color of twine also varies.

Stylishly organize your large purse or market bag with multiples!

Unfortunately, they're generally not available for sale. I only make prints after the original textile collage is sold.
My shop name needed to reflect the gusto and wild abandon of my approach to art! In that playful frame of mind, I started writing down words that fit that vision. Many iterations later, inspired by the larger-than-life actress, Tallulah Bankhead, there it was: "Tallulah ArtHead".

Like me, Tallulah tended toward exuberance, wit, and reckless abandon. She had a no-holds-barred attitude towards doing and saying what she wanted. She was not easily defined.

Unlike Bankhead, my personal life is utterly tame. But in my studio, I channel her vitality, humor and spirited attitude. Coupling that playfulness with my commitment to craftsmanship is how I design and make the products I sell.
