Description

We are not doctors and we can’t diagnose or cure your ailments. What we can do is offer up combinations of essential oils that have been found helpful for aiding in relief of the symptoms of individual conditions. You should consult with your doctor to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Do you have thinning lashes? Does mascara not plump them up enough? We can help with that. I first made this recipe for my mother who was considering using a prescription eyelash formula. The side effects are crazy scary and I put my essential oiled foot down and made her this serum. She began seeing results about three weeks into it and continues to see improvement in the health and vitality of her lashes.

What's inside? We use only five ingredients in our Luxe Lash…

Castor oil. We chose this carrier oil because it is high in Omega-6 fatty acid and castor oil accelerates circulation at the root of the lash which helps to strengthen hair that is already there and aids in the growth of new eyelashes. We also chose Castor oil because it is a natural alternative to eye drops sold in the store. When castor oil is used alone it relieves dry eye and aids in allergies and is even used to reduce the itching of eyes. We urge you not to put anything in your eye without the advice of a medical professional.

Vitamin E. We didn’t have to add it but we did. We use a pure Vitamin E and it is sure to nourish your lashes.

Lavender Essential Oil was added because it has been shown to increase hair growth by getting rid of free radicals. Lavender oil is also antimicrobial as well as regenerative supporting healthy hair follicles and lash growth.

Rosemary Essential Oil was included for this serum because regular use of rosemary may help to stimulate follicles allowing hair to grow stronger and longer. Rosemary can also help to disrupt the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is closely related to loss of hair.

Cedarwood Essential Oil was chosen because it is widely recognized as stimulating the hair follicles and increasing the circulation on site of application. Some people have noticed that Cedarwood Essential Oil plumps up lame lashes.

How should I use it? To get results you have to use the serum daily. We recommend using it at night when all of your makeup is off and the mixture has plenty of time to get to work while you're sleeping.

How do I apply it? You will use this the same way you use regular mascara. Take the wand and coat the lashes in the mixture. If you’re not comfortable with using the mascara wand you can take some of the serum and rub it on the lashes with your eyes closed so no oil gets in.

What happens if I get it in my eye? First, be very careful to not get it in your eye. If you do get it in your eye you should flush your eye(s) out with another oil like olive oil, castor oil, avocado oil, etc. You don’t want to use water because water makes the oils spread. By adding more oil to your eye it will pick up the oils and you can rub it away with a dry cloth. Repeat as necessary.

If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health professional prior to use. This product is for external use only. Use caution when exposing your skin to the sun especially if using any citrus oils. Keep away from eyes. Do Not ingest. Keep away from children.

You should always perform a patch test with any new product. Take a very small amount of this product and apply it to your skin, watch the area to make sure that you have no adverse reaction to this blend of oils. If you do you should cease use of this product immediately and contact a health professional if your symptoms don’t resolve.

FAQs

We are more than happy to work with you to find out what product is the right product for you. All you need to do is send us a message via Etsy and we can discuss different options and we can set up a Custom Order listing for you.
We have worked with a few companies to help them create a blend that was right for their staff members or their clients. We have been able to use the company's logo on the label and omit ours so that your company is featured on the product. We have used blends we have already created and we have pushed ourselves to make new blends that are special to the companies message they want to put out there. For example an oil to boost energy or confidence for teamwork drills. If you ask, we can most likely do it!
All of our FAQ's about essential oil blends, essential oil liniments and quilled paper art can be found here:

Yes! If you are nursing or pregnant you have to be careful about what oils you are using. Discussing them with your midwife, OBGYN or primary care physician will give you the best answer for your individual situation. Some oils should not be used by people who have epilepsy or high blood pressure. The other major precaution you need to be aware of is that some oils, mostly but not limited to citrus oils can increase the likelihood of getting sunburns. We encourage you to always take proper care for your skin and use sunscreen when exposing your skin to the sun.
You should always check with your child's medical health professional before using essential oils on your child. This is the best way to find out if there are any oils you should avoid due to medical diagnosis your child has and any possibility of contradiction with medications your child may be on. If you are using oils on your child please remember to use sunscreen often. Oils, particularly citrus, can cause serious burns from sun exposure to areas of the body that they have used oils on.
The essential oil products come diluted with a carrier oil to make it safe for ADULT use. The oil is diluted so that it is safe to use on the skin, however, unless you have used the specific blend previously you should always do a patch test to make sure that you have no skin sensitivities to the blend. To perform a patch test apply the essential oil blend in a discreet area and monitored for any inflammation, irritation, reddening or discomfort. If you do have a reaction to any essential oil you should cease the use of the product immediately and if your symptoms don’t improve or are severe contact a medical health professional immediately.
