Description

Cormo Roving (Farm Fresh/Homegrown!)
4 Ounces

**This is mill processed roving, not combed/pin drafted top. There are some neps and noils in the roving since the roving process does not remove the short staples and bits of wool. The staple length of this roving varies between 2-3 inches. The yarn tends to spin up into a thick and thin yarn with some texture from the neps. The shorter staple may be challenging for a beginner spinner. This wool is great for felting, spinning textured yarn, and adding to batts.**

This beautiful roving was home grown right here on our farm by our lovely flock of Cormo sheep. The fiber was processed at a local mill and put up in a 4 oz bump. The wool mill does use oils to process fleece. There may be a residual smell of the oil on the wool.

Our animals are only medicated when absolutely necessary. They are well cared for, happy, healthy sheep!

I do have other quantities of this fiber. If you don't see what you are looking for Convo me!

My fiber studio is smoke free and kitty friendly, though the kitties are not allowed near the fiber. :)

Additional policies

Some vegetable matter may be present in the farm fresh fibers. I do my best to wash and pick veggie matter out the fibers. Please remember that sheep live outside, eat grass, hay and grain, and sleep in a barn full of straw.

The shipping calculator on Etsy will sometimes over charge shipping costs for international shipping. I do refund shipping if it is in excess of the actual amount. If you have a question about the shipping cost on an international order, please send me a private message.
