This peacock art print is a museum quality reproduction comes signed and matted.
Peacock decor is a perfect bird lover gift or a Valentine's Day gift for the peacock collector in your life.

The original watercolor and silver leaf painting, Cauda Pavonis, was part of my birds of alchemy series.
This listing is for an archival reproduction of that painting.

The peacock has been a favorite bird of mine for many years.
This particular peacock was a wild specimen that lives near my house in rural Florida. Although I see peacocks from time to time out here, he showed up two years in a row on each night when I returned from Paris. I took it as a sign that he needed to be included in my next series, and he helped guide it in the right direction. That's what peacock does; he lends vision and clarity to etheric matters.
Within alchemy, the peacock stage is an iridescent oily substance that must be brewed before the next stage can be achieved. Where it occurs is disputed, but the inner knowledge and vision it brings is the key.
The peacock is also associated with the third eye, and the all seeing eye of God.
The circumpunct, an old symbol for the sun, slowly morphs into the blue pearl, the elusive yet widely seen vision in meditative states.
Whatever the peacock means to you, I hope this print helps to bring that feeling into your space.

Cauda Pavonis is printed on Hanhnemuhle cold press fine art paper with museum grade, archival inks.
These prints are my absolute favorite, as they look so much like the original paintings, right down to the texture of the watercolor paper. *texture swoon and sigh*
It comes with an acid free white mat that leaves room for the signature and title at the bottom, and it backed by archival foam core.

*SMALL prints will fit directly into any 8"x10" frame.

*MEDIUM prints will fit directly into an 11" x 14" frame.

Unwrap, pop it in, hang and enjoy. Easy peasy.

Shipping via USPS priority, other shipping carriers and overnight available for additional S&H.
Thanks for viewing! :)

*Watermark does not appear on original or prints.
Original painting is currently showing in FL and is available for purchase. Contact me for details.
