The Scuttle Shorts are a low rise knit short with two length options. Sew them plain or with colour blocking and a folded pocket.

This is an CONFIDENT BEGINNER level pattern.

The Scuttle Shorts feature:
- size 3-12 years (They do not accomodate a diaper/nappy)
- suitable for boys or girls
- shorty or jamaica length
- low rise shorts with elastic waistband
- plain or panelled front with folded pockets (please note the pockets on the shorty length are more decorative than functional. Small items can be put in them, but they are a little snug for the whole hand.)
- plain or split waistband
- optional faux waist tie
- suitable for stable knit fabrics
- measurements in metric and imperial (ie cm and inches)

This PDF includes a TUTORIAL with photos to step you through making the shorts & PATTERN PIECES which can be printed out on a regular home printer (with scaling set to none - prints fine on Australian, UK, USA and other international home printers). Layers are included with the pattern so you can print just the sizes you need. For your convenience an A0 file (for copy shop printing) is also included.
