Item details

Vintage from the 1900s

Vintage apothecary bottle with glass stopper from turn-of-the-century glass manufacturer T.C. Wheaton. Bottom of bottle is marked TCW-CO USA 4-L-V. Glass has a seam down both sides, one of which is rather wavy, and has a blue-green cast when viewed from certain angles.
Bottle is quite tall, standing approximately 9 3/4" tall with a base that measures approximately 3 1/2" in diameter. Mouth of bottle measures about 15/16" in diameter.
The bottle itself is in good antique condition with only a drip and scuff of what appears to be white paint. As pictured, the glass stopper has an unfortunate 5/16" by 3/16" chip.
Interior of bottle does have some water spots/residue.

Plain and simple, yes. As most of our items several decades old, and thus have earned the moniker "vintage," they have been used and loved by someone else before coming to us. As a result, many show their age and some wear from use.

We encourage our customers to review each item's description and photographs thoroughly and ask any questions they may have about its condition before purchasing.
