Description

This Steampunk fascinator is inspired by an Aviator flying helmet.
I always get too hot to wear hats and they mess my hair up so I prefer a fascinator or headdress that I can clip to my hair and make my hair style work with it.

I have incorporated an old leather flying helmet, one lens of a pair of vintage goggles and the old original metal findings, metal wear or old buttons, buckles, old brooches, and pheasant feathers gathered from the local woods where I use to live. (please note it is made with one lens or one side of a pair of goggles.)
It is made with leather straps and elastic cord to wear it like a hair band.

The original Aviatrix fascinator I made was exhibited in the German exhibition -The Mechanical Corps, on the trail of Jules Verne.

POSTAGE/SHIPPING: To save my customers from being disappointed if their bespoke items are lost in the post I have started using first class track & trace for postage which regrettably is more expensive but faster. If you do not wish to pay for this please contact me and I can lower the postage costs - please feel free to ask me any questions.

Handmade in St. Albans a unique English Cathedral City.
