These are early 20th century opera glasses. Originally, they were leather bound over brass, but the leather was gone prior to me owning them. They are clean and can easly be taken apart for further cleaning if so desired.

I am not able to find any markings, so I do not know who the manufacturer is or what the lens are. I can say, however, that you can see from here to there without any issues!

My wife found these for me back when I first started out backpacking in Arizona. They were old, beat up, and small. Perfect!

Then I learned they were opera glasses. Their functionality as my outback field glasses was over. You can't take opera glasses backpacking! What would the other desert rats and ground pounders say?

So, they were relegated to my office for peering out the ninth floor office windows. I figured if all the world was a stage, they should work pretty well there. And they did.
