Description

Made from logs from our garden, seasoned and lightly iced with glitter! Made for holding tea-lights

Make a lovely decoration for you home or as a gift. These are usually displayed at Christmas but can be used all year round!

These are 13 cm long and 7 cm wide.

We can make to order, e.g with more tea-light inserts, but we would need to season the wood first for 3-4 weeks before making the inserts or the wood changes shape while seasoning and the tea-lights may not fit!

All pieces are handmade in our home workshop in Ceredigion, Wales. We use traditional methods and techniques for most operations but occasionally, for detailed designs or where accuracy is paramount, we employ technology to help us. We also mix our own lacquers, oils and waxes.

We use locally sourced and salvaged materials, particularly wood and slate, where we can. Our own garden and the fields owned by our farming neighbours are also a bountiful source of supplies. Many of the items in the shop originated from our log pile. Sometimes, when appropriate, materials, i.e. clock movements, glass, brass, aluminium, etc. are bought in from external suppliers.

Keep an eye on our blog where we provide more details of how we do things here at Time4Light.

The honey dipper is beautifully crafted and looks great next to a jar of local honey in the honey hamper I'm making as a gift. The item was received very promptly and well packaged.
