Description

A traditional vintage norwegian knitted headcover, chunky pure wool in grey, creamy white & blue; the green pompom winter hat is in very good unworn condition, a handmade chunky scandi style vintage hat with a new wool bobble atop, to keep cosy & warm wearing this uniquely eco-friendly hat.
Medium sized for a cosy fit.
Hemline circumference 19 inch or 48 cm measured unworn,
will stretch to around 21.5 inches or 54.5 cms.
Height from centre crown to hem is 9.5 inch or 24 cms.

The Pom Pom has a diameter of 4 inches, or 10 cms.

Handcrafted recycling, made in England, the hat weighs 132 grams.

Materials ~ Pure new wool.
The pompom is a wool blend yarn in a jade green tone with purple fibres.

"Turquoise hearts". Upcycled hat with pompom, new bobble on vintage Scandi hat; handknitted Nordic wool hat repurposed, a green accessory winter hat.

In the details are the actual dimensions to all of the items.
The measurements can be compared with an appropriate clothing chart, or with a similar size garment. And I'm happy to help with any size/fitting queries.
A size chart isn't given because of the great variety of shapes and sizes, but I can assist with a 'virtual fitting'
If you're not sure about the size or how it could fit on you or someone else,
I have two dressmakers dummies that can be adjusted to your measurements and I would be happy to send more photos for your convenience.
