A whimsical hand wired hanging vase for rooting cuttings or displaying fresh flowers. With so many bright colors available, this teardrop shape vase makes a wonderful sun catcher for the window. Display fresh cut flowers from your garden or root cuttings of ivy and philodendron.

The finished wired vase is approximately 4" wide x 10" high x 3" deep. The vase is designed to be hung in a window, but it can also be hung outside on a porch or patio. Suspend the vase from a curtain rod or cup hook using a piece of fine gauge wire, fishing line or decorative ribbon.

The glass vase is a recycled product that is made in Spain. I use an 18 gauge coated steel wire for strength and durability. Since each piece is wired by hand, the wiring detail will vary. Each hanging vase is finished with colorful Czech glass beads. Customize your vase by selecting beads that coordinate with your home decor!

Hanging vases are wonderful gifts for Mom on Mother's Day and make great housewarming gifts too!

You may hang the vase in several ways. Suspend the vase from a curtain rod using a fine gauge wire or fishing line. I like to use a tension rod placed in the window frame at the top of the window behind the valance. This way, I can hang several pieces together at varying heights. You can also hang the vase to the side of the window by using a wall bracket/hook. A cup hook mounted to the ceiling works well also.
