Wheel of the Year

This print draws from the tradition of the Celtic Calendar. It marks the cycle of the earth around the sun- the only ‘real’ calendar we have, nature’s calendar. Here in Ireland our ancestors lived in intense connection with the natural world and its intricate cycles. They knew how integral these cycles are to our human existence and celebrated that connection throughout the year with the solstices, equinox and seasonal festivals.

Native Circles are a set of simple illustrations that create space for nature connection and self reflection in our living space. Native Circles are now available as an interactive wooden wheel that can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall.

It is recommended but not essential to purchase your wheel with the specially designed wood stand. This allows you to interact with the wheel by turning it with the change of the season or cycle. Each stand has space for 3 wheels allowing you to build up a collection of your favourite cycles.

Slow down to check in on the moon phases or reflect on the seasonal changes around you. These cycles can offer us perspective, flow and a sense of grounding in the world around us.

Think of them as a field guide to a simpler life more connected with the wonder of the natural world.

I ordered two Wheel of the Year Calendar's and they both arrived today - in time for Christmas. One is for our home and the other is a wedding present for a recently married couple. I am thrilled with them. It looks and feels beautiful and I love that you can turn it to each new position for specific inspiration based on the season. A wonderful infusion of Celtic wisdom. My ten year old was home sick from school when they arrived and he instantly loved it saying "it's very spiritual and it's amazing how it's hand-made. How did Emily even do that?" I don't think I could write a better review. Thank you Emily Robyn Archer.

I got to see the gift I gave my brother. It wasn't what I expected. The hand drawing is beautiful and the calender itself is lovely. And I wanted to support Irish craft. However the image seems to be a print of a drawing on a wooden disk of wood. No moving parts. Perhaps my imagination got carried away

I ordered on a Saturday and received it the following Tuesday. The packaging itself connects with the beautiful piece. A lot of thought gone into every last detail. I am impressed. Excellent! Well done😊
