Description

Annalee Mobility Christmas Ornament Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer 1971

Here we have our great friend Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. However, we only have Rudolph's head!

This Rudolph was made to be an ornament. His head can hang on your tree or on your wreath. He just would like to spend Christmas in a Happy Christmas Home.

Rudolph is wearing a bright red cap with a long pointed tail. The cap is decorated around the bottom edge with white and has a holly leaf and three holly berries, over by his ear. His nose is red, his cheeks are rosy, and his eyes are very large and look right at you. I can feel the cap and there is another ear inside..

Rudolph's tag is still attached at the back of his cap. It tells us that he was dated 1971 and that he is, indeed part of the Annalee Mobility family.

What Rudolph is wishing for, in addition to celebrating Christmas, is that someone could repaint the back of his red holly berries. When he is hanging from the tree, of course, the back of the berries cannot be seen. So, if the new owner did not have time before Christmas to take care of this, no one would know. I believe that this is his only problem.

I have seen these heads done as a Christmas Pin, but there is a picture of this particular head in one of the Annalee Books, that refers to this one as being an ornament. I am also listing the head of a Christmas Mouse, which is designated as a pin to wear and has a pin at the back.

Thank you for stopping to shop in my Store and for taking the time to read about Rudolph.
