CROCHET PATTERN Adult Dragon (printable PDF-file / 105 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Dragon! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

A sweet, sleek Dragon ready to take off into the sky... right after they cuddle with you for one more minute! The effect is amigurumi-like, though there are some distinct techniques used that are not used in single crochet-only amigurumi. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing. Includes options for ornamentation that you can use to create your own unique Dragon! The perfect toy for a girl or boy, young or old!

This dragon is free standing and poseable. It uses one package of 18g paper wrapped floral craft wire (Stiff/strong wire, not soft wire) to create a simple spine for the dragon's body which allows for the head to be moveable, and it lines the edge of the wings which allows them to be poseable as well. The adornments are all optional and as such you can create your own unique dragon every time.

This pattern is 105 pages long. The last 31 pages of the PDF are a text-only printer-friendly version of the pattern. To conserve on printer ink, you can selectively print these pages. However, I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

An enormously detailed pattern that is easy to follow. There are loads of options provided to make your dragon your own personal creation too. I made the wing arm in one continuous piece but I wish I’d made the one with the “thumb” instead! I used Sheepjes Stonewashed for this dragon.

Absolutely brilliant pattern! Very easy to follow! I learned to crochet 5 months ago and I was thrilled how detailed the instructions were! Also the details and add-on options are amazing! I’m going to buy a lot more patterns from Crafty intentions, that’s for sure!

Love this pattern! I found it easy to follow and it included many helpful pictures. This was my first ever crochet project and while, yes, I did have some difficulties here and there I was able to do it so novices don't have to be too scared by the recommended skill level mentioned in the directions. My little dragon is so cute; I just adore it.

It looks like a very intimidating project, but with all the pictures and explanation, it was very easy to follow. It came out better than I thought I could accomplish, and my brother loved it. I also used 9mm cat eyes to give it more realistic reptile eyes.
