This is a copy of my 1911 German Postcard, there is a line on the Santa’s forehead from a crease in the card, but I loved the Santa’s face so much I had to go ahead and use it. I don’t think it detracts that much. Santa and his cakes have been enhanced with glitter, and Aqua German glass glitter, in his hand and on his hat are vintage shellacked holly leaves and berries, and his robe is trimmed with wool roving. He is backed a vintage green folded cardboard reflector that has been wrapped with gold crinkle wire and red dresden stars have been added. Behind the reflector is a gold German dresden,a large gold spun glass circle, and another large gold dresden that has more red dresden stars and is circled with vintage bronze colored tinsel. Because I like the back to look pretty too, there are more dresdens on the back with a wire loop for hanging. I have a lot of fun making these ornaments and I hope you enjoy them.
