Etsy has chosen our llama to be a finalist in the Etsy Design Awards 2019!

A llama is a social creature and made a wonderful addition the Zoo at Windy Willows. Sir Winslow had picked up a few pairs of them on an excursion to South America in 1912. Llamas hum to communicate with each other. Lady Susan (Sir Winslow’s wife) was able to train them to perform for the visitors to the zoo. They hummed “Turkey in the Straw” to everyone's delight.

When you give an animal from Sir Winslow’s Zoo you are giving a best friend. You are creating a smile, a memory that will last forever. We specialize in making all the items snuggly for nap time, a buddy when you need comfort and friend to join in all your amazing adventures.

To start the llama pillow was cut out by hand which will give it some variation. Then the pillow was assembled with love using both machine sewing and hand stitching. It is what gives them character and personality. The pillow is stuffed with poly fiberfill and is machine washable. Will need to be air dried or on a delicate setting. She measures 12 across the base and 18 inches high.

Custom orders are available with color and fabric variations and they certainly can be as unique as you want them to be.
