Shipping policies

Shipping
If you pay by credit card, it goes out the following day in most cases. I try to ship within 24 hours. I do not ship on U.S. holidays. I ship on the occasional weekend.
I will refund overages on shipping over $1.

DOMESTIC (US):

I still ship via USPS First Class for most packages 13 oz or lighter for smaller valued items in the United States.

I ship USPS Priority Mail/Parcel Select for heavier shipments depending on what is most cost-effective. With that being said, I will compare and sometimes use other methods.

INTERNATIONAL (OUTSIDE US):

This shop is not VAT registered, therefore VAT is not "applicable" for this shop. Please be aware that VAT may be added by your country's government upon import.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.

Please note, it is my policy to put exact amounts for purchases on all customs forms and to accordingly mark them as "merchandise." International customers are responsible for any applicable customs fees, duties and taxes.

Insurance
If you want to insure your item, please convo me prior to purchasing. I will quote you the insurance amount and create a custom listing including the insurance.

PACKAGING:

Expect your items to be packaged with great care. For vintage patterns, I ship them mostly in envelopes(flat rate or otherwise) with a clear achival envelope for each pattern. For vintage home decor, most of my items are fragile, so I must use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and/or foam wrap in your package. Please know that some of these are donations from local companies who would have sent them to a landfill otherwise.
