These look just like the photo except I requested bronze ear hooks (which look great) and the seller obliged. The earrings are a good size, large but not oversized. There is a light varnish on them to protect the wood, but it’s only on the front side of the earring. This means you might not want to wear them in water, but otherwise I don’t think it will make much of a difference. The varnish has a sheen but is not shiny. The natural features of the wood are lovely. If you like the look of these in the photo, you’ll probably like them in person. I’m glad I bought them! UPDATE: I’ve been wearing these for a couple of weeks now and I love how lightweight they are and how the neutral tones go with everything.
