This is a 100% English made belt. Using Oak Bark Tanned Bridle Butt leather from J&FJ Baker of Colyton, Devon, the last remaining Oak Bark Tannery in England.

The Brass West End buckle is cast in sand in Walsall. The pure copper saddler's rivets and tool used to set the rivets, are also made in England.

J&FJ Baker leather goes through a long gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide unlike modern tanning methods.

The process takes from 12 to 24 months, using the best hides and Oak bark from Wales, the Forest of Dean and Cumbria.
The hides are dyed by hand at the tannery in an irregular way giving a unique appearance to each belt.
The result is a beautiful piece of full grain leather, full of character and showing scars and bites from it's previous life.

DO NOT JUST ORDER TROUSER SIZE. PLEASE READ:

Made to Measure -

We make the belt for you, so will size it for you rather than using shop style generic sizing.
We ask you to measure a current belt from the buckle end of the strap (not including the buckle itself), all the way down to the HOLE YOU USE MOST.
This hole will be the centre hole on your new belt. Giving you plenty of adjustment each way.
Your true BELT size is usually 2-3 inches more than your trouser/jean size.
If you are unsure on the sizing, please make contact after order to confirm.

Lead Time: Around 2 weeks until dispatch from Chadwick Belts.

*Normal Use.

To be used as a belt, to hold your trousers up. The belt is Guaranteed for the original user's lifetime against total failure.
Although the belt may be capable of such things, it is not Guaranteed if using for towing your Nephew Sean's Vauxhall Corsa out of a ditch, or your mum's Honda jazz for that matter. Just for holding your trousers up.
It does not cover general wear, damage caused by an accident, Damage caused by badly placed rivets on jeans, damage caused by alterations to the product, neglect or the natural patina process within the leather.
Each product will be individually assessed for its repair or replacement in the event of a guarantee claim. Original proof of purchase may be required.
You will be responsible for returning the product to us and any costs associated with this, however we will return the product back to you free of charge.
