Unusual ornate true lemon yellow vintage plastic beads that we found in London during a buying trip to Europe in the early 1980's. I've always loved the shape which has always reminded me of lanterns!
We found these beads on Portobello Road which is the antique district of London.

*****IF you love this type of bead, I have a somewhat similar bead in the same great shade of yellow ( RES-126 ) but in a different pattern so please check them out ***

These beads are a real LEMON yellow - yellow is a very difficult color to photograph even adding in a yellow light but these pictures are pretty close to the real color.

Price is for 4 of these lovely translucent lemon yellow beads which we 100% guarantee to be vintage from the 1950's as so many other wonderful vintage beads I found in London during that trip. They measure approximately 19mm x 16mm.

I sold many of these resin beads through the Smithsonian Institution's museum shop and mail order catalog during the 1980's and they were also featured in trunk shows at Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue during this same time period.

You'll never see resin or lucite beads like this nowadays at your neighborhood "gem show"!
