Description

Ministry of Upholstery - Contemporary Stool Workshop
Workshop held at The Crafty Nest, 78 Walton Road, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 0DL
Tel 0208 9411944
When: 13 July 2018, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

This is a verified Ministry of Upholstery Workshop whereby we provide all materials and class instructions with hands on tutorial. The beautiful and incredibly stylish stool was designed by Creative Director of Ministry Of Upholstery Anthony Devine, one of the stars of BBC’s Money for Nothing! Anthony has personally trained Alicia in the Manchester based Ministry of Upholstery to qualify teaching this workshop.

This workshop is an excellent introduction to modern upholstery and you leave feeling proud of your gorgeous item, satisfied with learning a new skill. It is suitable for complete beginners and those with some basic experience. It is an excellent introduction to the tools and materials used, a perfect taster too if you want to progress on to more advanced projects.

The size of the workshop is limited to a group of no more than 4. We all move along at the same pace with step by step instruction and help from Alicia from putting together your stool, webbing, applying hessian, wadding etc. foam, making the trim (yes - you make it and no sewing!) and how to get the fabulous corners.

You can also paint the legs with Autentico paints too! Everything is included apart from one metre of fabric of your choice. We will need your choice of colour upon booking.

If you would like to book a private session of 2 to 4 people at a date and time to suit, please send us a convo to create a custom listing.

SPECIAL OFFER - receive 10% off your order/purchase of Autentico Paint made on the day of your workshop.
