Simple, Easy To Follow Step by Step Plans To Build This Incredible Sawhorse Farm Table.

This cool, elegant and sturdy sawhorse farm table measures 30.5” high x 31 ½” wide x 8’ long. The length can easily be adjusted from 6 to 12’ wide with these plans.

It is perfect as a rustic dining room table, farm table, desk, picnic table – or an incredibly strong and mobile workbench. The possibilities are endless! The sawhorses are built to easily allow chairs or a bench and plenty of leg room.

The table is built in two parts, a pair of modified sawhorse legs, and the table top. It can be fastened down permanently, or simply laid between the two sawhorses for a strong, sturdy portable table.

To build, you use only basic 2x lumber found at any home improvement store. It can be anything from a farm table, to a strong and beautiful dining room table, portable picnic table, or the sturdiest workbench ever. And all for about a total of $40 in materials, it is one inexpensive table!

These tables can be screwed and glued down to be completely permanent. Or, they can also be portable. They attach with a simple built in wood cleat on each side, and can be taken apart in seconds. The tops can also be stacked on top of each other for storage of multiple tables.

I love this design! Everything was clearly laid out and the finished product looked exactly like what was pictured. The sawhorses were the perfect width to support the table but not get in the way of chairs. Everything was sturdy beyond belief and I'm thrilled with how my sawhorse table turned out.

Great and easy to follow instructions, i was able to make these by myself in an afternoon! I added an extra board to the front to make it a little stronger and to make the seat slope smoother. I also used a 2×6 for the arm rests.

These plans are a great starting point! I made a few adjustments to fit my needs. I put the door and window on the taller side so it would be easier to clean. One thing to note is that there are gaps in the roof where it meets the framing. I ended up stapling chicken wire onto it to keep critters out.

Easy to follow plans. Looks good enough that I could put it in the front side yard of my house. I really appreciate having a clever plan to follow that I didn’t have to come up with myself! Though it probably goes without saying I strongly recommend assembling this on a flat surface. I did this in my yard and it added unnecessary difficulty in assembling the sides.
