Children play and draw with crayons practically every day, so why not make the experience more educational? This listing is for a set of 96 labels to stick in the crayons in a basic 96 pack of crayons so that while children are coloring, they are also exposed to the names of chemicals that will make those colors! So instead of thinking "I want green" they will think "I want Barium Nitrate Ba(NO3)2 Flame" and then when they take chemistry in high school and their teacher sets some gas on fire and it makes a green color and they ask the class what chemical it was your student will know it was Barium! Genius!

~~CLEAR labels do not cover up the original name well, so these are intended for you to place next to the original names so that all names are showing. Also, be sure to press the labels on and not rub - the ink will rub off since these aren't made of paper.
Included: Set of 96 stick on CLEAR labels
Sheet with information about which chemical goes with which color and a chemistry lesson for the non-chemical person
**Crayons and card NOT included
**QueInteresante recomends that you purchase Crayola® crayons to go with the labels.
~Sometimes the labels stick really well and other times they don't. I'm not sure what affect this but sorry if you're unsatisfied with how well they stick....tape will always solve the problem!
~~These crayon labels have been featured on GIZMODO, various other science/educational blogs, and the 9/27/10 issue of Chemical and Engineering News.
