Chenille

DESCRIPTION: For those of us old enough to remember, the term chenille brings back images of tufted bedspreads so popular from the 1920s through the 1960s. When I discovered this yarn with its wonderful chenille feel, all those childhood memories came flooding back and made me smile. I bought skeins of it and made several small afghans (lapghans) in the hope that covering yourself with this soft chenille blanket will bring back happy memories to you, as well.

This is a hand crocheted lapghan made by me with Bernat Blanket Yarn in blues and white. It is shaped in an 8-point star and fits perfectly over your chest, lap, and legs. It has a nice weight and will keep you toasty warm under its chenille softness.

DIMENSIONS: Point to point measures 54-55 inches. It weighs just shy of 2 pounds.

USE: This is the perfect size afghan to throw over yourself while watching TV, sitting by the fire to read, or curled up in your chair to nap. This is also a nice lapghan for your college student or someone in a wheelchair.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
-- Machine wash in cool water on delicate setting
-- Tumble dry on low heat, delicate cycle

SHIPPING:
-- United States: USPS Priority Mail, which includes $100 insurance
-- Canada: USPS First Class International, with appropriate insurance

FAQs

I do my best to package all orders with appropriate foam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc. Unfortunately, there are rare occasions when the post office delivers a damaged item.

Should your item arrive damaged, please save the item and all packaging and convo me and attach pictures of the damaged item and the packaging. This will assist me in making the insurance claim for your refund. Insurance claims are done online, but your local post office may require inspecting the damaged item and the box it came in. I will notify you once the claim is complete.
Please note that I will ship only to domestic addresses that are confirmed with the USPS via Etsy. Packages cannot be shipped to unconfirmed addresses.
