About This Painting: This ORIGINAL painting on paper was inspired by my "Fields of Joy" series.

About the Artist: Contemporary American Impressionist Lisa Palombo began her formal art education at the age of nine while spending summers at the acclaimed Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She later graduated from RISD with honors. She also completed graduate studies in Fine Art at the European Honors Program in Rome, Italy.

Palombo produces magical florals, still lifes and landscapes in a unique style that is unmistakable in her expressive brushwork and fearless use of color. She is considered a master of color and the natural form. Palombo not only paints, but also regularly blogs and speaks at public venues. Her work has been featured on more than 40 book covers, including several New York Times bestsellers as well as showcased in "Art & Antiques Magazine," "Southern Living," "The Artist's Magazine," "American Art Review" and a Columbia Pictures movie, "The Bounty Hunter."

Palombo is listed in the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C., and the Marquis Who's Who in American Art. Her paintings are featured in the books "The Best of Oil Painting," "Exploring Color," "The Best of American Oil Artists (Vol. II)" and "Lisa Palombo: American Impressionist." Her work can also be found in select galleries, her own studio gallery and in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S.

I am beyond thrilled to have my first piece. I saw your work on FB through Azi’s Verdigreen spot for her design room . I met her at an Annie Sloan workshop in North Carolina. I’ve been telling everyone how beautiful your art is! This year I have a trip to Italy planned but next year, I’ll be spending my money on a larger piece. Loved the “Living Waters” piece and YouTube video. Your art makes me very happy!

We just love the artwork of inspired American Impressionist - Lisa Palombo!

Her work is vibrant, imaginative and joyful to behold. The opportunity to enjoy this book, featuring many of her works to date, was a must and we couldn't be more pleased with this gorgeous book.

We highly recommend the book and were very pleased at how easy it was to order online, via Esty, for delivery to our home here in Helsinki, Finland. A great e-shopping experience and a wonderful value for the reasonable price offered.

    Peace and Joy to Lisa,
