Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details

Should you request a refund, order cancellation or exchange:

1) Returns, cancellations and/or exchanges are processed on a case-by-case-basis. Because each piece is unique, I can not replace an item lost in the mail. Only insured items are eligible for refund due to non-delivery or damage.

- If your item(s) arrives damaged, we will ask you to take a photograph and return
it to us in the original packing if at all possible. Exchanges on damaged items must
be returned within 7 days of arrival.

2) Custom items are not eligible for refund or exchange.

3) Returns will not be accepted due to customs taxes, fees or duties.

4) If a return or cancellation is approved, the buyer will be responsible for a 15% restocking fee.

5) All shipping fees and postage costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

*SHIPPING ADDRESSES: Don't forget to double check your listed mailing address. If your address in your Etsy OR your PayPal profile is incorrect, it is your responsibility to let us know ASAP and we will make sure that your order is shipped to your best and most recent address.

*INSURANCE: Insurance is included for all items and is required for all orders. Only items that are insured can be replaced. However, because many pieces are unique, limited or one-of-a-kind, exact replacement of items lost in the mail may not be possible but funds may be put towards another item. Insured items are eligible for refund due to non-delivery or damage by the USPS.

Additional policies

If there is a particular item or size you're interested in but do not see currently listed, please just let us know and we'll try our best to accommodate your request to create a custom listing for you. **PLEASE NOTE: We do not do custom orders between Nov. 1st and December 31st.

Specific Policy for our Redesigned Lamps & Lighting:
Being that all our lamps are vintage or antique, prior to use, it is recommended that vintage and antique electric lamps and fixtures be examined by a qualified electrician to ensure they are safe for use. This includes both lighting with vintage original wiring and lighting that has been rewired. When purchasing from Fritz & Fräulein, the buyer is accepting this responsibility and liability of use.

It is strongly recommended that proper wattage bulbs be used at all times. If unsure, a qualified electrician can specify the maximum wattage that can be used for any specific electric item.
