Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
We are glad to accept Credit Cards, Etsy Gift Cards and Paypal. We begin manufacturing your products once payment is received and will regularly communicate with you until your products arrive at your home or business. We will confirm and re-confirm your order via email or Etsy messaging even after receiving payment to ensure your products are made exactly the way you desire. On special occasions such as custom orders where very specific measurements (or other details) are involved, a conference call may be requested. This ensures quality control on our end and allows time to cancel before production begins. Once these confirmations have been made there will be no cancellations and manufacturing begins immediately. Customers often receive digital photos of their ordered products as they are being made.
We are required to charge a 7% sales tax for those purchasing within the State of Indiana.

Returns & exchanges

Because we take our time in confirming every purchase, there are no cancellations on orders. If an item arrives damaged, we ask that you contact us immediately and provide several digital photos of the damaged item(s) and the packaging within 24 hours of receiving the damaged item(s) for insurance purposes and so we can replace the item for you as quickly as possible.

Shipping policies

We will ship your products as soon as they are able to be packaged (allowing time for glue and food safe oils to fully cure). We spend a good amount of time packaging every piece very carefully and labeling each package clearly so you know exactly what is inside of each bundle of bubble wrap (or other packaging material).

Because shipping is costly we request our wholesale customers to have there own shipping account (I.e. fed ex) and pay for shipping directly through their account. Otherwise we will ship as affordably as possible. We ship in cardboard boxes with reinforced hard foam and have had no issues.

We most often use USPS. Because shipping is paid by the customer, we do research several services to find the most affordable way to ship your products. Every order will come with a tracking number that will be sent to you once your package has been shipped. The shipping price on each listing is an estimate. Many make wholesale purchases while others purchase a single item and prices for shipping can vary. If you are overcharged for shipping, you will be refunded the amount you have been overcharged with a company check from Esarey Hardwood Creations LLC. If we are not able to find shipping at the cost you have paid you will receive an invoice for the amount you have underpaid along with a detailed shipping receipt.

We currently only ship within the United States.

Buying one of our hardwood cutting boards?
Because hardwood cutting boards require ongoing care, Esarey Hardwood Creations LLC cannot be responsible for cracking or warping due to the negligence of the owner. One website has given the following suggestions on how to take care of your wood cutting board. You will find many helpful articles online that will help you make your cutting board last for many years.

Avoid the Evil Dishwasher
Keep your board out of the dishwasher, which can warp the wood or dry it out so much that it cracks or splits! Keep things old school instead and hand wash.

Scrub with Salt + Lemon
Washing a wooden cutting board with dish soap and water are critical to keeping it clean. But when you need to deep clean or remove pesky stains (think: beet juice), bring out the big guns: coarse salt and lemon juice. Sprinkle the salt liberally over the board, then slice a lemon in half and use it to rub the salt into the board. The salt acts as an abrasive to lift stains and the lemon juice leaves everything smelling great.

Eliminate Maximum Moisture
After rinsing the soap (and salt and lemon juice) off of your board, take a dry dishtowel and give it a thorough pat dry. If water gets trapped in the grain, it can warp the wood and turn moldy quickly. But a solid towel dry after every wash (and making sure your board doesn't sit in a wet sink for too long) helps keep things fresh and mold free. After blotting the excess moisture off the board, stand it up to dry - do not lay it flat - to make sure air hits as much of the surface as possible.

Give Your Board an Oil Change
Once a month or so, hydrate your thirsty wood board with mineral oil. Use a soft, clean cloth to spread an even coat of mineral oil over the wood. Let the oil soak in for several hours, then use paper towels to blot off any excess. Voilà! A beautiful, functional board ready to take on the world -- or at least a pile of vegetables.
