Description

Scandinavian Sterling Silver Necklace. Mid-Century modern by world- renowned designer Hermann Siersbol of Denmark. The necklace is hallmarked HS Denmark sterling. With all the legal Hallmarks.

A timeless Mid-Century design, the necklace is as modern today as it was in the late 40's / 50's. In fact, while in Copenhagen I saw similar new high end designs that were 5 x as costly.

Scandinavian jewelry designers used simplicity of form which is timeless and as beautiful today in the artisan's interpretation. The Danes crafted exquisite pieces using the finest materials.

This Siersbol hand crafted design is quite a modernist casting with shimmering silver balls adorning the intricately simple design.

Rare to find, a collector's dream.

A choker styler at 15", is easily extended several inches with a sterling add-on to be included at no charge.

Hermann SIERSBØL (HS)
opened his own silversmith workshop in April 1945. It was his mission to create affordable quality jewellery in modern designs. He had the right idea, for the initial kr 2,000 investment , which he had saved from his salary as an apprentice, gradually led to the development of one of the largest gold and silversmiths in Scandinavia. Today the company uses the most advanced production methods and equipment for casting and stamping jewellery pieces. Herman Siersbol died in a tragic accident in 1964 and the company was taken over by his 4 children. His son Henrik Siersbol is now the sole owner, and runs the company with his daughter Camilla.

Note: 2 other necklaces by Siersbol in my shop, one had lilac ametheyst stones, one identical in stle to this listing only it has clear quartz diamond cut stones. Convo me if interested.

Returns & exchanges

I strive for 100% customer satisfaction always, but buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for returning an item, even if the item is a gift for someone else. Because of the type of items I sell, and the vulnerability, returns are not accepted unless you are accidentally shipped a wrong item. Shipping damage is covered by the insurance. Please view photos and descriptions and ask questions before your purchase, as all items are sold as is and are previously owned or used items. I am happy to communicate with you and quickly answer questions. I want your business and hopefully repeat business, so the items I sell are true to the presented descriptions as best I know them.
All items are sold as found and non-refundable. Custom crafted jewelry is not refundable under any circumstance and all buyers agree to this policy when item is purchased/purchasing.
This includes custom made jewelry not specifically created for a certain buyer.

All jewelry and antiques will be shipped insured and with tracking number. Most posts will require your signature. I will not ship to P.O. Boxes or countries outside of the United States unless I have spoken with buyer and given a shipping quote.

Shipping policies

Ships within USA primarily but will ship Internationally* via USPS Express International on a limited basis. Buyer is responsible for any customs charges applicable to the purchae in their Country.
.
I ship USPS express international because it is the only way I can track the package to your door step. I am excited about offering items to international buyers, but ask that you read this section and are ok with the terms before deciding to buy. Shipping this way is very expensive. Please convo me before buying so we can agree on the cost. There are no refunds or returns of international sales under any circumstance.

U.S. shipping will be whatever the best choice is for the item, insurance will be added to higher end sales with signature required.

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee a USPS delivery date. I can guarantee I will ship quickly, as indicated on the item, provide tracking info, etc., but have no control over when you receive the package. If for some reason the item doesn't get to you in the time you may require, it is not my fault and I am not responsible for missed buyer's "need by dates". I will work with you tirelessly to find a solution in this very rare instance.

Additional policies

Just for information: I am a buyer too. I buy all over the world. Often I am surprised at the size of a piece of jewelry when it arrives, as cameras and macro lenses today make wonderful photos, but they can make an item seem larger as the lens picks up close details which you really DO want to view. Please ask questions re size or ask for a snapshot of the item next to say, a dime or quarter or a can of soda on larger items. I do try to describe the size of the item in detail and in the photos which are part of the description.
