A charming apple, made of recycled wool, to hang from your holiday tree, to adorn your favorite teacher's desk, or to add a pop of color to a gift. Delicious!

The leafy green apple measures about 2.75" wide by 2.5" tall, not including the leaf, making it just about the size of a small (real) apple. It's been carefully handsewn, right down to the vein in the little curved leaf. It's been stuffed with a bit of scrap wool and given a jute loop from which to hang.

I opt not to buy commercial felt and rather make my own out of wool. These apples are made from reclaimed garment wool, mostly sweaters and coats that I have deconstructed and felted (fulled). The wool varies in texture, from super soft to slightly scruffy.

Each apple has been hand-cut and sewn individually from my own pattern and while the materials I use are exactly as shown in the photo, do expect small variations in stitching.

You'll receive one green apple.

Made in my non-smoking home/studio.
