This wheel thrown ceramic planter is made by Jennifer Spring Ceramics, a Seattle based modern ceramics artist.

The all black carved planter measures approximately 6-7" wide and 6-8" height. The artistic process is called sgrafitto, which is a painted surface that is carved to reveal the design. Each piece varies slightly in size, design and pattern.

The white clay is glazed in clear and the pattern is left unglazed to reveal a matte finish. The result is modern and dramatic.

*For made to order, drain hole is available on request. You can also request a drip tray like the one featured for an additional $25.
