This is a a nifty piece of old barware by Napier.
I am not sure exactly how old this is. I believe it is bGerman silver (aka nickel silver), which is a copper alloy with nickel & often zinc (usual formulation is 60% copper, 20% nickel & 20% zinc) rather than silver plate because I did some pretty vigorous rubbing to get out some spots & at no time did I detect that I had rubbed through the silver & gotten to the base metal. The spoon just got better looking.

There is some shallow pitting in the bowl & on the back of the spoon, but no major dents or deep scratches. Over all this is in very good used condition.

The piece is about 9 inches in length & the spoon is about 1 inch wide.
On the back is PAT. APPLIED FOR NAPIER

Though I am not sure exactly how old this is, I know that it is over 20 years old because the Napier mark on this has Napier in block letters. The Napier mark was done in block letters between 1922 & the late 1980's when the company changed hands & merchandise was marked Napier in script.
