Description

This is a gorgeous iridescent lipstick tube. This beauty has NO lipstick inside so you can decide which of your favorite lipstick to go in the handmade crystal iridescent tube.
Description of tubes:

Fitted for 11.8mm lipstick molds. However, most molds labeled "12.1mm" can be used; the fit is just a bit more snug. The single-cavity mold offered as an add-on option for this tube is a 12.1mm mold.

Bullet-shaped, They look very similar to MAC lipstick tubes.

Circle indent on bottom allows for your own sticker label to be applied.

DIY Mold Info:

Use: ideal template form for making lipsticks and lip balms. Lipstick base should not be heated over 150F/65C for best results. Gives stick an approximate diameter of 12mm, fitting nicely inside 12.1mm tube.

This is a heat-resistant (within reason), reusable plastic mold consisting of 2 parts: Translucent hollow mold shaft & white base plug designed to move up and down inside to both plug the base holding liquid base inside, as well as allow solid lipstick to be pushed out.

When inserted correctly, the plug is a ridged inverted dome shape and does not allow for rounded slant to be cut from the top of your lipstick (please see pics), only a “straight” slant. For a longer lipstick, you can flip the plug dome side down, but it will still have ridges along the perimeter of the lipstick tip.

Use a rod-like tool to help push the plug up/down inside the mold. For best results, lubricate inner parts with a thin layer of oil prior to filling.

This mold is for home DIY lipstick/balm making and isn't suggested for use in a professional setting. They're reusable and made well enough to do the job intended, but are not for excessive/long-term use (due to the fact that it's plastic, not aluminum).

Filling Instructions:

1) 1) Lightly lubricate inside of mold shaft

2) 2) Insert plug dome side up

3) 3) Pour mixture into mold while still hot (150°F/65°C)

4) 4) Refrigerate for 30mins or until lipstick is completely firm

5) 5) Using narrow tool, push plug to expose 1/2" of lipstick from top

6) 6) Softly press/push lipstick exposed lipstick portion into cup of tube

7) 7) Holding firmly & steadily onto mold, gently roll lipstick down into tube
8) Using a shape knife, cut tip to create desired shape
