I would give 1/2 * but that's not possible! Extremely disappointing. Some recipes were in cups and tablespoons? If U R making soap U need 2B accurate & use a scale! The essential oil chart is nothing more than the info that is provided by suppliers like Essential Depot. There is no information about Super Fats! I bought this book because the description indicated that there were several shampoo recipes and there are! However, super fats for shampoo should be different than regular body soap. There was nothing to indicate how 2 modify the recipe 4 greasy hair. Was the recipe designed 4 greasy hair? can that B modified by modifying the EO? I won't be going 2 the website nor will I waste more $$.$$ buying UR soap. A total waste of $$.$$ unless you drink koolaid and follow just because

You are very misinformed and a better understanding of the soapmaking process would be beneficial for you. The only cups and teaspoons mentioned are for powdered herbs and the like. Everything else is in ounces. Shampoos do NOT need a higher superfat content as that would make for oily or grimy hair. It is the ingredients that make a shampoo bar better for hair. This is not an exhaustive book to tell you everything you can possibly imagine for making shampoos. It gives you exactly what it says it gives you - a set of recipes for you to try and enjoy. What you sound like you wanted was a $500 resource for $6. Shame on you. If you simple approached me and asked for help I would have gladly tutored you and cleared up your misunderstandings and fears, as many many people can tell you that I do on a regular basis.
