Sunflower seeds Lost and Found Funky Chunky Bling Button Bracelet

Texas has some of the biggest and prettiest sunflowers ever. They get huge… taller than 6 feet! These seeds make up a yummy snack that is perfect in the fall time. The "Lost and Found" bracelet is ONE OF A KIND and made up of a mix of vintage buttons. It is adjustable and measures approx 8.5 to 9.5 inches. The buttons are sewn together by light brown dyed cotton thread. There is a simple brass toned lobster clasp. The acrylic and metal buttons featured in this piece range from copper, sunny yellow, burnt orange, and caramel brown. All photographs are taken under natural lighting to reflect the true color of the piece.

The buttons in the bracelet are like so many of us... lost. Why are we here? What am I supposed to be doing? Is there more to this life than this?

One of the most famous songs out there is "Amazing Grace". I didn't know until just recently that the man who wrote the song (John Newton) was one of the worst human beings you could imagine! He abducted people, put them on a ship, and sold them into slavery. Along the way to the ship's destination... people were abused, starved, many thrown over board in a line of chains. There was such an absence of God in his life. He was LOST! One day during a terrible storm he thought he would surely die in the bottom of the ocean. He surrendered himself to God that day, became a Christian and later wrote this song. It is so gracious that someone like John Newton can be forgiven and FOUND!

John Newton (1725-1807)

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.
