This large Hekate Altar Shrine box has been handcrafted in every detail to honor the Goddess of the Crossroads. Shrines to Hekate were placed at doorways to both homes and cities with the belief that it would protect from restless dead and other spirits. She is the keeper of the three and four-way crossroads – the liminal space through which the dead travel. She is the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy.

This shrine features a vile of hair from a black dog and antique skeleton keys. Light a candle and this unique altar top box is all you need to begin your work with Hekate. It is traditional to offer three eggs and a bit of honey on the new moon.

Size: 10.5 x 7 x 4 inches.
