Primitive Farm House Table; featuring curly maple planks 2 full inches thick x 13 inches wide and 49 inches long.
This curly maple plank table top is supported by a white oak sliding dovetail.
The tables sawbuck legs are sawed from reclaimed white oak barn beams. The legs are secured to the dovetailed baton by a traditional hand chopped wood peg. For additional leg support, hand hammered iron is anchored to both the legs and table top. No finish is applied to 3" x 4" timbers of the base, allowing the natural beauty of reclaimed white oak to make a bold statement.
The tables top is sanded to perfection, enhancing the figure of this curly hard maple planks. Four coats of durable urethane offers years of protecting.
Over-all dimensions of this table are 26-1/4" x 49-1/2" x 30" height. Some of the tables top, still has the Live Edge . . . . .the bark was removed and the fabulous curls exposed.
