One antique doll head made at one of Germany's more famous doll factories from the Thuringia region. Pre-1930.

Made by the Armand Marseille doll company which was at the center of the German doll-making revolution in the 1890s. Started by Armand Marseille, the company made bisque doll heads from 1885-1930.

Backmark says "A.M. Germany 341/3".

Measures about 10.5" around the head, about 3 1/4" across (from ear to ear) & about 3 1/2" wide on a side.

Broken & repaired. Lots of cracks & a hole at the back of the head. Original paint like blush cheeks & feathery eye lashes around the empty eye sockets.
