If you follow any of my listings or have read my introduction you’ll understand this piece. But in case you haven’t or didn’t here’s the deal; between me and my husband (and our ages), we have collected some pretty amazing things over the years; albeit, borderline strange. This bracelet doesn’t happen to be one of those world-of-the-weird finds, but it did come from someplace out of the ordinary – from a little artisan shop owner in Manaus, Brazil, on the Amazon River. My husband loves me, you see, and always brings back things he thinks I might like. He brought this back when we were first dating or soon after. It’s about 20 years old. But don’t let that sway you one way or another. Please judge it by today’s standards, because it is still very contemporary in style and character and is in pristine condition. I only wore it a couple times. All the other times I kept it in my jewelry box which is lined in anti-tarnish cloth…which apparently works!

This cuff bracelet was artisan made by a local Brazilian jewelry maker. It is made with six thick, 14 or 16 gauge, square sterling, brass, and copper wire. It is hand sculpted into a simple but pretty scrolled cuff with a hook and eye closure. It measures 7.75” around. There are no scratches, dents, or malformations in this piece.

Thanks for looking.
