An original mixed media painting "Cordovan Abstract" is framed and ready to give as a gift to someone special! It is a contemporary, abstract arrangement of values and colors - reds, oranges, blues, and black. The painting is on watercolor paper coated with gold acrylic gesso. When the gesso was dry, I used watercolor mixed with gouache for some opacity, but the gold shows through in places...it has a mysterious glow in person...hard to show the richness in a photograph. I also used Caran d'Arch and watercolor pencil. The image measures just under 11" x 7" and is matted in a cordovan linen mat and a handsome, distressed espresso wooden frame. It is custom framed with archival matting and UV glass. The finished frame size is 19 1/2" x 15 1/2". The painting, glass, and frame are in perfect condition. (The slight discoloration on the matting in the photo is simply my reflection in the glass as I photographed it...there is no discoloration.)

It would make the perfect addition to your home or office. It will be shipped in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box with tracking by USPS Priority mail.
