25 'Serv-a-Dish' Inserts in Original Box. The Serv-a-Dish was introduced in the 1960's by St. Regis and was the new convenience for outdoor or indoor buffet dining. Plastic coated compartmented disposable paper inserts were to be placed into the enameled metal trays. After the party, you throw away the insert and handwash the metal trays. These were sold as sets of 4 or 8 trays with inserts. Additional inserts could be purchased separately. This set of 25 inserts that have been stored in an 'insert' original box. The insert box in included with the set. The insert box in included with the set. Good vintage condition. Box has some slight wear. Inserts measure approximately 10 3/4" square.
