There Are Wolves in the Forest (A Feminist Retelling of Red Riding Hood)
Materials: india ink, paper, photoshop
“There Are Wolves in the Forest” is a brutally feminist retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Written as a response to the paternalism and sexual metaphors of the traditional tale, this depiction tailors the original elements to an empowering narrative that weaves together contemporary horrors and visceral fantasy.
Comic is 7.5"x12.5".

Eden's art is bold and dazzling-----and beautiful. She is my granddaughter. Her fury at the wolves of this world gives me relief: she expressed her rage; I suffocated mine. I am grateful for her new Red Riding Hood story ------which is NOT for children.
I love this artist’s work and it’s such a treat to be able to send her beautiful work as seasonal cards to friends and family. The cards are very well made and a true bargain as well. I couldn’t believe how quickly I received my order and I love the way it was packaged. This seller is extremely attentive to detail and cares about the satisfaction, happiness, and the feedback of her customers than most anyone else I’ve interacted with online. She responded to feedback I gave almost a year ago by sending me a new card (after also getting back to my immediately when I first contacted her) with a great, new copy of the card. I was so impressed and happy. Many thanks!
Thanks so much! This is a great little book, with really cool art. (Also came with a thank-you card that was a work of art in itself). FYI, I knew about this book because the Glitter Box N.O. mentioned it on their FB page. Sometimes that kind of info is useful. :)
