Inspired and based on the work of Maria Luisa Torres, Mara, born Ario de Rosales Michoacan. Painter of training, she turned to ceramics in 1979, under the tutelage of Alfredo Zalce Mexican Designer recognized.
After years of study and research, she creates her own enamelling and studied in Italy with Bruno Teresi Abisola Marina. His work has been exhibited worldwide: Dublin, Ireland. Vallories (France); Minneapolis, USA; Miami, USA.

Mara pottery has been in the family since the beginning and therefore Mara died in 2007, spouse, children and his faithful apprentices continued production and legacy of this great artist. The pieces and collections we offer are high quality, handmade by our artisans using methods of an artist's passion.
