Description

This is the latest addition to my original designs for 1/12th scale dollshouse needlework items and is the third of my cushion designs.

With this design I have deliberately moved away from more delicate patterns, such as the Cherry Blossom and Bonsai Tree, and opted for bold, rich colours that will stand out but which will go, I hope, with more than one colour scheme.

It has again been designed to be worked on 40 count silk gauze in tent-stitch (or half cross-stitch) using a single strand of embroidery thread (again I have used DMC, but given the colour numbers for both DMC and Anchor in the instructions) over one thread of material.

With the kit, I supply a piece of royal-blue silk to use for the back of the cushion but feel free to substitute your own choice of material.

The finished design has a stitch count of 50sts x 49sts and measures 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" (approx.) when made up.

The kit includes:

Chart and instructions
40 count silk gauze
Needle
DMC thread
Silk backing material
Toy stuffing

(Please note that htis item is sold subject to copyright and no part may be reproduced for commercial purposes in any form without prior permission from the designer.)
