Description

Here is a hard to find large Carl Aubock Carl Auböck for Culinar Ostovics, made in Austria lidded cooking pot in a beautiful cobalt blue enamel exterior, navy blue enamel interior and black enamel bottom over steel. The interior is a deep navy blue and the bottom of the exterior is black. It measures 9 1/2" high with the lid on to the top of the handle of the lid and 6" without the lid. Is is 11 1/2" wide with the handles from the end of handle to handle and 8 1/2" wide for the interior of the pot. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks, or damage to the enamel surface as we sometimes see, but there are some water spots on the finish of the lid that rub out, but seem to keep coming back. Those spots can be seen on the last photo that appear as fingerprints. The bottom has some shelf wear. It does not detract from this important design object. Fully marked as shown in the photos. This cookware is a well documented and important design. Check around and if you can find any available in this larger size you will see they are selling for very high prices.

The Etsy shipping calculator seems to estimate high shipping costs to the west coast than may be accurate, but shipping will be more for this item, because to requires a large box (14" x 14" x 14") due to the handles. If I am able to secure shipping at a lower cost once packed and a label is generated I will refund the overage.

Shipping to a New York State address will be charged 8.0125% sales tax. Please see my website www.hamel20.com for more Aubock objects and other important high-end modernist designs.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Therefore, to avoid buyer’s remorse please review the listing and photographs carefully and ask questions before making the purchase. We will do our best to answer your questions timely and provide additional information. Thank you.
