► This is an extra-small size Monkey's Fist knot, made with cotton rope and hand-painted with acrylic paint. Inside the knot is a wooden ball for structure and weight. It is the perfect non-traditional holiday ornament!

COLORS ► Pale blue and peach.
SIZE ► Approximately 2 inches in diameter and hangs 5 inches long. The knot is about the size of a golf ball.

The Monkey's Fist knot is an old sailors knot used for weighting rope or, sometimes, as a weapon. I have made these for decoration, either to hang alone or in a small group.
